Prioritize your mental health, avoid civil matters – Abia CP tells police officers

Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, convenes strategic meeting with senior officers

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, held a strategic conference with officers, including Area Commanders, DPOs, HODs, and Tactical Team Commanders, at the Command’s Officers’ Mess in Umuahia.

During the meeting, CP Isa urged officers to collaborate with stakeholders in tackling crime across their respective areas of responsibility (AORs).

He emphasized the importance of mental well-being, stating that a healthy mind is essential for professionalism and sound judgment.

Additionally, the CP issued a strict warning against engaging in civil cases, extortion, and corruption, stressing that disciplinary measures would be enforced against any officer found guilty of misconduct.

He also cautioned against the misuse of social media, urging officers to maintain professionalism and comply with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) social media policy.

To enhance security, officers were directed to implement strategic measures to ensure law and order in their jurisdictions.

During the event, three newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs)ACP Odo Lauretta, ACP Enatufe Omo, and ACP Ifeanyi Owo—were decorated. The CP advised them to remain professional, law-abiding, and committed to their duties.

The Abia Command also honored three retired officers, recognizing their dedicated service to the Nigeria Police Force. CP Isa commended their sacrifices and encouraged them to be good ambassadors of the Force in retirement.
