In a stunning display of endurance and skill, Kenyan runner Edwin Kibet emerged victorious in the 42km male category at the 10th Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

Kibet crossed the finish line with an unofficial time of 2:14:16, solidifying his reputation among elite marathoners. This triumph adds to his impressive record, as he also won the 2023 edition with a slightly faster time of 2:14:06.

His back-to-back victories highlight his commitment and excellence in long-distance running.

As the champion, Kibet will receive a $50,000 prize, a well-deserved reward for his dedication and perseverance.
