2027: Atiku, Peter Obi can remove Tinubu – Okupe tells Dangote who to back

Doyin Okupe, a former presidential spokesman, suggested on Thursday how President Bola Tinubu could be ousted in the 2027 election.

Okupe proposed that a ticket combining former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi would be enough to defeat Tinubu in 2027. He further claimed that if former President Goodluck Jonathan joins the race, it would be “game over” for Tinubu.

In a post on X, Okupe urged business mogul Aliko Dangote to follow in the footsteps of Elon Musk and support Atiku. He wrote: “Many Nigerian politicians lack deep thinking. Atiku/Obi will unseat Tinubu. They assume the Yorubas are foolish.

“Bring in GEJ in 2027 and it’s game over, assuming the North is self-destructive. Dangote should be like Elon Musk and back Atiku—assuming Dangote is suicidal. Where is God in all this?”
