Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has criticized politicians who, he claims, exploit innocent children for their own political agendas.
This statement follows the outrage surrounding the court proceedings involving minors arrested in August for protesting against hunger.
According to Atlantic Reporters, these minors were arraigned and subsequently granted bail set at N10 million each on Friday, with the case adjourned until January 2025.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Igbokwe attributed the situation to politicians who provoked the violent protests.
He stated, “It is both evil and disgraceful to manipulate other people’s children for political gain while your own are studying in prestigious universities around the world.
“Do you really believe you can ruin the lives of others’ children while your own succeed? Think again; the law of Karma is still in effect.”
