Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has suggested that Mason Mount could be included in the lineup for the Premier League match against Manchester City on Sunday.
Ten Hag believes that the former Chelsea midfielder has the potential to make a significant impact against the reigning champions.
He emphasized that whenever Mount is chosen, he will enhance the team’s performance.
Ten Hag stated: “I believe that Mason Mount can benefit our game in every match. I have no reservations about selecting him. He has started in many matches and also come on as a substitute in numerous games. In the last game against Copenhagen, he didn’t play, but he is certainly a player we are considering for Sunday because his abilities can be extremely valuable against City.”
Mount has only been directly involved in one goal for United in any competition, which was an assist during the Carabao Cup third-round match against Crystal Palace last month.
