Trump revokes security clearance for Biden, Kamala, Clinton

President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearances of former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and several other officials.

A presidential directive issued by the White House on Saturday ordered federal departments and agencies to enforce the revocation immediately.

In a memorandum, Trump stated that he had determined it was “no longer in the national interest” for these individuals to retain access to classified information.

The list of affected individuals includes Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Elizabeth Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, and other members of Joe Biden’s family.

Federal agencies have been directed to take all necessary steps to revoke any active security clearances held by these individuals.

As a result, those impacted will lose access to classified materials, secure government facilities, and confidential briefings, including the President’s Daily Brief.

Additionally, they are barred from obtaining classified information from any member of the Intelligence Community and will have their security clearances revoked even if issued through private employment.

Notably, Blinken previously served as Secretary of State, Sullivan was National Security Adviser, and Monaco held the role of Deputy Attorney General.
