Former Kogi Deputy Governor Patrick Adaba Passes Away
Former Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Patrick Adaba, has passed away following a prolonged illness, a family source confirmed.
Born in 1946, Adaba pursued his higher education at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, along with a graduate certificate in education in 1971.
He held various positions before being appointed Secretary to the State Government during Prince Abubakar Audu’s first tenure as Kogi State Governor.
In 2003, Adaba was elected Deputy Governor on a joint ticket that saw Audu return to office as Governor.
