Katsina LG Election Begins as Buhari, Governor Radda Cast Votes

The Katsina Local Government elections commenced across the state on Saturday, with prominent political figures participating in the voting process.

Former President Muhammadu Buhari cast his vote at Polling Unit 003, Sarkin Yarn Ward A in Daura, alongside the Commissioner for Special Duties, Adnan Na-Habu Daura, at 11:09 am.

Governor Dikko Radda, his wife Zulaihat, and Deputy Governor Faruk Jobe also exercised their voting rights in the election.

Additionally, former Katsina State Governors, Ibrahim Shema and Aminu Masari, along with serving senators and ministers, voted at their respective polling units.

After casting his ballot at Kofar Katika Polling Unit, Radda Ward, Charanchi LGA, Governor Radda expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) securing victory.

“With the numerous projects we have undertaken since assuming office, we strongly believe in APC’s success. I assure the people that their votes will count,” he stated.
