Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the victims of a recent airstrike in Tungar-Kara, Maradun Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The airstrike, intended to neutralize fleeing bandits, tragically resulted in the loss of several innocent lives in the village.
In a statement signed by Al’mansoor Gusau, Director-General Media to Senator Yari, the senator extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured.
The senator prayed for Allah to grant the deceased the status of martyrs and reward them with Aljannah Firdausi.
While commending the military for their continued efforts to combat banditry, he emphasized the need for greater caution in future operations to avoid unintended civilian casualties.
Senator Yari also reaffirmed his hopes for lasting peace and prosperity in Zamfara State and across the nation.
