Justice Maryann Anenih of the Federal Capital Territory High Court has granted bail to Umar Shoaib Oricha, co-defendant in a money laundering case alongside former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello. The bail was set at N300 million.
As part of the conditions, Umar, the second defendant, must provide two sureties with landed property in Maitama District, Abuja, within the court’s jurisdiction.
Additionally, Umar is prohibited from leaving Nigeria without the court’s approval and will remain in Kuje Correctional Centre until the bail requirements are met.
