BREAKING: Ekiti Chief Judge, Adeyeye reportedly dead

The Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, has reportedly passed away.

It was recalled that nearly a year ago, part of the High Court building in Ekiti State collapsed on the Chief Judge while he was in his office. Since his hospitalization and discharge, he has been battling with his health.

Sources close to the matter informed DAILY POST, though the news has yet to be made public, as it is being withheld pending an official announcement.

The International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA) has extended condolences to the late Chief Judge’s family. In their message, FIDA Ekiti said: “With deep sorrow and full submission to the will of God, FIDA Ekiti extends heartfelt condolences to the family of Hon. Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, Chief Judge of Ekiti State, on his passing. May his soul rest in peace. We pray for strength for his family, the Judiciary, and the people of Ekiti State to cope with this profound loss. Farewell, great one.”
