Former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, emphasized that President Bola Tinubu should not be held solely responsible for Nigeria’s current economic challenges. Speaking at the 2024 Leadership Colloquium and Award hosted by the Akinjide Adeosun Foundation (AAF) in Lagos, Ambode urged Nigerians to confront the ongoing hardships and economic difficulties head-on.
Addressing the audience, Ambode highlighted the importance of understanding the underlying issues rather than engaging in a blame game. He emphasized that the challenges facing the country are not solely attributable to President Tinubu or any individual, but rather require a collective effort to address effectively.
Ambode stressed the need for citizens to stop procrastinating on resolving national issues and to unite for the betterment of Nigeria. He underscored the significance of tackling security concerns and avoiding negative rhetoric about the country.
In essence, Ambode emphasized the necessity for Nigerians to confront their problems directly and work together towards a common goal of national unity and progress.
