Stella Maris, the wife of the ailing actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has accused Jasmine, the actor’s adopted daughter, of taking control of the funds donated for his surgery.
In a post on her Instagram page on Monday, Stella Maris revealed that despite receiving a N1 million donation, it was meant to cover specific bills at home, and she questioned why Jasmine, who she describes as a stranger, is involving herself in the family’s private matters. Maris also claimed that Jasmine is secretly managing the main Access Bank account where donations are made, and she expressed confusion over Jasmine’s actions and her attempts to control the account while spreading false information about Maris.
