The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has initiated the collation process for the Kogi State gubernatorial election. Although it was initially announced that collation would commence at 10 am on Sunday morning, at the time of this report, thorough scrutiny of accredited media organizations and Civil Society Organizations was still in progress.
The collation center is heavily secured, with a significant presence of security personnel both within and around the facility. Various political party agents, some local government electoral officers, and collation officers are currently present at the center.
