Ndidi urged to shun move to Barcelona

Football analyst Aaron Tebbutt has offered advice to Wilfred Ndidi, cautioning him against considering a transfer to Barcelona. Recent reports have linked Ndidi, who is in the final months of his contract at the King Power Stadium, with a move to the LaLiga champions next summer. The 26-year-old midfielder will be eligible to enter negotiations with foreign clubs from January.

Tebbutt, however, has recommended that Ndidi prolong his tenure at Leicester City rather than making the move to Barcelona. In a statement on Football League World, Tebbutt suggested that if Ndidi has a successful season, Leicester might be compelled to offer him a new contract to prevent him from leaving on a free transfer. Given the likelihood of Leicester’s return to the Premier League, Tebbutt proposed that Ndidi should consider extending his stay with the Foxes and experience a promotion campaign to the Premier League, rather than making a difficult decision to turn down a club as historically significant as Barcelona.
