Napoli’s manager, Rudi Garcia, openly acknowledged that the team will feel the absence of Victor Osimhen after his recent injury setback. Osimhen returned to Naples last weekend after suffering a thigh injury while on international duty. Reports suggest that the powerful striker could be sidelined for approximately four to six weeks.
Garcia conceded that the club will face challenges coping without the 24-year-old player. He emphasized the importance of having all their players fit and ready to play, expressing that Osimhen’s absence is a significant loss for the team. Garcia told La Gazzetta dello Sport, “He is a crucial player for the team, and we must find a solution in his absence.” So far this season, the forward has scored eight goals in 10 appearances across all competitions for Napoli.
