A Dunamis church situated at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, has crumbled, resulting in the tragic death of one pastor.
According to ATLANTIC REPORTERS, the incident took place on Tuesday morning as the resident pastor and three other members were engaged in their prayers. While the three other pastors managed to escape unharmed, the resident pastor became trapped and lost his life due to the collapsed structure.
When contacted by ATLANTIC REPORTERS, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine, verified the occurrence, stating, “Only one person has been confirmed dead at this time.”
Police officers from the C Division, North Bank, have already arrived at the scene of the collapsed building.
