Police charge man for 1996 murder of rapper, Tupac Shakur

According to Sky News, a Nevada grand jury has issued an indictment against Duane “Keffe D” Davis, a 60-year-old individual, in connection with the murder of the iconic American rapper Tupac Shakur.

Keffe D, believed to be the uncle of one of Tupac’s known adversaries, Orlando Anderson, was formally brought before the Las Vegas Police to face charges. The jury’s indictment specifically charges Keffe D with murder while employing a lethal weapon.His nephew, Orlando Anderson, who was reportedly involved in a casino altercation with Tupac and his associates on the night of the rapper’s tragic death, previously denied any involvement in Tupac’s killing. Tragically, Anderson lost his life two years later in an unrelated gang-related shooting.Keffe D publicly acknowledged his presence in the vehicle that was allegedly involved in the shooting in interviews and in his 2019 memoir, titled “Compton Street Legend.”Tupac succumbed to his injuries after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds when he was 25 years old at the time of his death.Remarkably, until this past Friday, no arrests had ever been made in connection with the case.
