Amusan reflects on Diamond League success

Tobi Amusan has reflected on her third consecutive Diamond League victory, after winning the 100m women’s hurdles race in a season’s best time of 12.33s at the Oregon Diamond League on Sunday night.

The 26-year-old is now the second athlete to achieve the feat, following in the footsteps of Serbia’s Ivana Vuleta, who won the Diamond League 100m women’s hurdles title in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Amusan, who lost her world title at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary last month, said that she came out to the race determined to win, and that she is grateful to God for giving her the strength to do so.

She also thanked her coach, family, and everyone who supported her throughout the year, saying that the win is not about her, but about everyone who has helped her along the way.

Amusan’s third consecutive Diamond League victory is a testament to her incredible talent and resilience. She is one of the best hurdlers in the world, and she continues to inspire people all over the globe with her achievements.
