We’ll spend N5bn to renovate governor’s office – Otu

Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu will spend N5 billion to renovate the Governor’s Office in Calabar to make it more appealing and attractive to investors. He will also renovate all the state liaison offices in Abuja, Lagos and elsewhere to carry the same look and feel.

The governor said the current state of the Governor’s Office is not befitting, and that renovating it will help to create a more positive image for the state. He also said that the renovations will be done with transparency and that the estimated cost is between N3 and N5 billion. The contractors are currently working pro bono.

In other words, the governor is spending a lot of money to make the Governor’s Office and state liaison offices look better. He believes that this will make the state more attractive to investors and help to improve the economy.
